PUPPETRY IN PERFORMANCE
A day workshop for children aged between 7 and 12 years old in glove puppetry fabrication and performance.
Yes, that’s right! Now it can be your turn to bring your own amazing character to life. We have teamed up with those ace educators at Bristol Academy of Drama to bring you Mr Gotalot’s first ever puppetry workshop.
Children will make their own puppet and then learn how to bring it to life. They will then show their new found puppetry skills to parents in a short performance and can take their puppet home to make puppet shows of their own.
Make your own hand puppet out of fabric, foam and all sorts using traditional puppetry techniques as seen in The Muppets and The Furchester Hotel. Learn lip syncing, eye contact and basic body language techniques to show off in your final performance.
Monday 26th March 2018
10.00am to 4.30pm
